Mukwonago’s new industrial park has 40 acres of developable space on Dewey Drive (see map) with expansion plans up to 200 acres. Expansion plans include 115 acres to the south on the Sugden parcel. An 80,000-square-foot Gearbox Express facility anchors the new business park, strategically located along Interstate 43. The Village is currently entertaining proposals for the construction of additional manufacturing facilities.
Total expenditures made were $2.2 million. Capital invested provided infrastructure improvements needed to attract and retain business in the Village. Kunkel Engineering Group provided engineering consultation during the industrial park design phase and creation. The following is a list of infrastructure improvements:
- Fiber internet ready
- Municipal water extension of 3,480 Linear Feet
- Sanitary sewer extension of 1,965 Linear Feet
- Street extension of 1,100 Linear Feet
Additional amenities include a regional storm water management pond, extension of private utilities (electric, natural gas, and cable), street lighting, and improvements to the Highway 83 intersection.
